Who We Are

Highland Valley’s “CitizensMatch” is a program that helps people and businesses match up with one another to trade goods and services without exchanging any actual cash. By monetizing acts of caring among individuals and businesses within our community using a non-cash currency, the Citizen Dollar, our program serves as an economic tool. Essentially, CitizensMatch helps people match up with other people who can develop a system of trading, using Citizen Dollars, based on mutual needs. Beyond individuals trading person-to-person, CitizensMatch has created a platform of businesses that accept, spend, and trade using Citizen Dollars as a currency throughout our community.
